Wicca Divination

Divination is often practiced in Wicca, though you can still be a witch and not practice it. Divination is the process of trying to gather information from the Divine. There are many ways people go about Divination with a variety of tools. Wiccans do this to get guidance and to answer questions. Divination is only for those who believe in the Divine(Gods, Goddesses, Divinity, Great Power, etc). When you are doing divination you are usually asking the Divine for answers and if you do not believe you won't get results.

There is a difference between divination and fortune telling. A fortune teller gives you information on the future while people who do divination are provided with clues and guidance. Both of them only apply as long as the person stays on that path. You must be aware that the future is not a concrete thing. It can change in an instant.

 Tarot Cards are a popular form of divination. It can take a lot of practice to get it right. This is one section of Wicca that takes more hands on time then just reading about it. There are many designs of Tarot Cards. it is important to pick the deck that feels right for you. No matter what design they all consist of the same cards.

Each deck consists of 78 cards. It has two major sections, the Major Arcana and the Minor Arcana. There are 22 cards in the Major Arcana. These cards focus mostly on the material world and the intuitive mind. The Minor Arcana has 56 cards. They are split into four sections; Swords, Wands, Pentacles( sometimes known as Coins), Cups. Swords represent conflict morals. Wands represent ambitions and jobs. Pentacles represents things like finance and security. Cups represents relationships and emotions.

Pendulum divination is one of the easiest forms. The pendulum acts as an amplifier for energy that comes from the great Divine. The energy causes the pendulum to move in different directions, giving you the answers to your questions.

The pendulum can be any form of string or chain with a weight. Natural materials are best used.

When using the pendulum place your elbow on a flat surface and let the string hang about 7 inches from your hand. Only ask yes and no questions. Hold perfectly still so only the energy is moving the chain and not you. If it swings clockwise the answer is yes but if it swings counterclockwise the answer is known.

The second method is if it moves clockwise it is yes and if it's counterclockwise it's no. Pick whatever method you think is best.

 Numerology can be used to find your lucky number, help you with major life challenges and your life path. A Life Path is one of the most important numbers in numerology. Numbers 1-9 all have a meaning. I know there are numbers larger than that but they can be reduced.
